Sankalp IoT Based Solutions for Indian Eco System
Sankalp Semiconductor hackathon on “IoT Based Solutions for Indian Eco System” was a great success. The event had students from 35 colleges participated from Electrical& Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) and Information Technology Engineering (ITE) branches. The event also had distinguished member of technical staff from Sankalp to judge the event and award the most deserving innovators that participated in the event.
Twelve teams qualified for the final round held in Kolkata on 28 February 2020. B V Raju Institute of technology that presented a prototype on Cropillar won the first prize (INR 80,000) and the second prize (INR 50,000) was won by the team from Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologiesthat presented Smart Irrigation System based on type of crop.

Sankalp Solar Energy Harvesting Hackathon
Sankalp Semiconductor hackathon on “Solar Energy Harvesting” event was a resounding success. The event had students from 31 colleges participate from Electrical& Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) and Information Technology Engineering (ITE) branches. The event also had distinguished member of technical staff from Sankalp to judge the event and award the most deserving innovators that participated in the event.
Fifteen teams qualified for the final round held in Kolkata on 19 January 2019. National Institute of Science and Technologythat presented a prototype on Solar panel cleaning bot won the first prize (INR 50,000) and the second prize (INR 30,000) was won by the team from College of Engineering &Technology that presented Solar based forest-fire early detection & early monitoring system.
